These are Daniel Bryan’s first matches every year in WWE. His first match in 2003 was In February against Jamie Noble on Velocity. Noble countered Bryan and hit him with a neckbreaker to win the match. Bryan’s first in 2010 was in February against Chris Jericho on NXT in a non-title match. Jericho won with the Walls of Jericho. His first in 2011 was in January in a battle royal on NXT. R-Truth eliminated Ricardo Rodriguez. Dolph Ziggler threw Bryan out. Ted DiBiase eliminated Truth. Then Dolph eliminated both Ted and Chris Masters to win the match. Bryan’s first in 2012 was in January against Cody Rhodes on Raw in a champion vs champion match. Cody went for a suplex, Bryan countered him and pinned him to win the match. His first in 2013 was in January, teaming up with Kane on Raw against Cody and Damien Sandow in a non-title match. Cody took out Kane and hit Bryan with the Cross Rhodes to win the match. Bryan’s first in 2014 was in January, teaming up with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan on Raw against The Usos and Rey Mysterio. Harper took out Rey, went for the finish on Jey, who then rolled him up and pinned him to win the match. His first in 2015 was in January against Kane on Smackdown. Bryan caught Kane with the Crossface and J&J Security attacked him, ending in a DQ. Bryan’s first in 2018 was at WrestleMania 34, teaming up with Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Bryan tapped out Sami to win the match. His first in 2019 was in January against R-Truth on Smackdown in a non-title match. Bryan countered Truth’s offense and hit him with the running knee to win the match. Bryan’s first in 2020 was in January, teaming up with Roman Reigns on Smackdown against Dolph Ziggler and King Corbin. Bryan hit Dolph with the running knee, the lights went out and The Fiend appeared. They started brawling and the match ended in a no contest. His first in 2021 was in January, teaming up with Otis on Smackdown against Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura. Bryan hit Cesaro with the running knee and tapped out Shinsuke to win the match.
