What began as a routine response to illegal fireworks turned critical when one man walked away toward a garage, prompting commands from officers that were ignored. According to police, the man appeared to reach toward his waistband, leading an officer to fire two shots, striking him in the leg. A loaded 10mm Glock was later recovered nearby, though the footage does not clearly show the man holding or drawing the weapon. The man survived and was transported to a local hospital. He has not been charged and was not identified.
