This video is a follow-up to my flash tutorial for Hasselblad-X cameras, see here: Hasselblad X2D II + Profoto Flashlight | Understanding Hasselblad Flash Photography https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci-gx2DgJBE In comments people mentioned that Profoto works well on Hasselblad-X cameras but GODOX flashes seem not to work in TTL mode or at least being very tricky. People openly shared all kinds of problems with GODOX flashes when shot on Hasselblad cameras with me so I really wanted to try this out myself and see how far I get. By coincidence, a couple of weeks back GODOX was kind enough to send me their iT32 flash so I could try it out on my Hasselblad X2D II and, voila, the flash works really well in TTL mode and is also very compact, very versatile and - as I show in sample images - delivering perfectly balanced light on subjects when shooting real life images. In the video I explain the flash and its functions in detail and also show many sample images providing proof of evidence that the Hasselblad X2D II cooperates very well with the GODOX iT32 in TTL shooting mode. And manual flash mode is anyway always working as long as the hot shoe of a camera is capable of firing the flash in sync with the shutter release button of the camera. There are three additional features of the iT32 which I did not discuss in the video since I really wanted to focus on the connection of the flash to my Hasselblad X2D II. But for the sake of completeness I will quickly mention these three features here for your information: The iT32 has a transparent wide-angle diffuser built into the flash head. The iT32 has a white catchlight panel inside the flash head. Both you can just easily pull out of the flash head with your finger nail. The iT32 also has on the front side an LED modeling lamp which you can switch-on in the menu of the flash and you can steer it's intensity from dim light to very bright light also in the flash menu. Update, 15-March-2026: Please note that I use the iT32 on-camera as demonstrated in the video. Then TTL and everything I showed works fine and as expected. But be aware that other users in comments report on issues in TTL mode when shooting the flash off-camera which is not my workflow and, therefore, not tested or experienced by me. So if your application for this flash is off-camera shooting then better be aware of these issues. Its worthwhile to go through these comments first before making a purchase decision. This seems to concern only Hasselblad cameras, not cameras from other brands.
