This was Credit from YT Battles I hope you all Everyone likes this video and Subscribe to this channel and Subscribe to my 2nd Channel and Subscribe to my 3rd Channel YT Battles message on Twitter /////////////////////////////////////////// Announcement About the Future of My YouTube Channels First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has supported my YouTube channels or the community that we have built in some way, whether it was watching a video, being a staff member on our livestream or Discord, being a channel member/super chatter, being a regular on the livestream, etc. There are too many to name. YOU are what made our community as great as it is Now let’s get to the point: I took some time to think about it and I can no longer continue the YT Battles channel as I have for close to four years. This is not an easy conclusion to come to as I love the stats community that we had a huge part in creating There comes a time in your life when you have to decide what is really important, what is really worth prioritizing (well, many times actually but this seems to be one of those times). Most YouTubers who started in their teens/twenties do not do much beyond age 30. There are just many other opportunities that life offers besides grinding all of your free time away on YouTube videos. Some want to have more time to spend with their partner, or to start a family. Others want to travel more. There are endless possibilities. The nature of YouTube, especially for small creators, is that you have to spend most of your time alone in your room. You will miss out on a lot of life experiences if you do not develop a healthy work/life balance at some point. As you get older, you also have more responsibilities to take care of that you may not have had in your teens/early 20’s YouTube as a platform has not been giving me much reason to continue putting as much resources into it. The platform has done pretty much nothing but push me away lately. It is very expensive to run the channel and I do not have as much disposable income as I once did. I have more bills and responsibilities that need to be prioritized, plus the cost of living has skyrocketed in recent years. With the channel now demonetized and little hope to regain monetization anytime soon, I do not want to continue paying for everything. That said, I almost do want to continue just in spite of YouTube as I always have, but it just doesn’t seem possible anymore haha Yes, I probably could make some changes and get monetized again but I don’t think 24/7 livestreaming can fit into the equation for that to happen anymore. Producing high quality videos is also very time consuming and my life is just way too busy already right now. I enjoy YouTube stats a lot and would have enjoyed it even if I never made a cent from it, but realistically I can’t devote nearly as much time to it anymore if I am getting nothing back. Maybe in the future, I can become active on one of my channels once again but that is definitely not possible in the next few months for me This is my current plan: We will continue livestreaming 24/7 through the end of next week on March 12. After nearly four years of continuously livestreaming almost everyday, it all comes to an end. All good things must come to an end. Such is life. We will still livestream for special events when I have time, but we will not be 24/7 and uploads will probably become very rare There is still a slight chance that I change my mind between now and March 12, but I don’t expect anything to happen that will change my mind. I am very sorry to those who have been loyal regulars and who might be very disappointed by this news. I don’t take this decision lightly and you are the main reason that I have continued livestreaming as long as I have. I encourage everyone who hasn’t yet to join our Discord server so that you can stay in touch with friends from the community and get updates on any future content by me. I will still be here on Twitter following things in the stats world, but to a much lesser extent than before Anyway, thank you for reading - YT Battles
