I found this extremely rare horror mod of Baldi's Basics, known as the Dr. Reflex mod. Very little is known about it or its creator, since the developer disappeared and never said anything else about the game. Unlike other horror mods of Baldi's Basics, in this one the main character is no longer Baldi, but Dr. Reflex — and the way he behaves in the schoolhouse is completely different. In fact, it's a thousand times harder to escape! Dr. Reflex is extremely fast, the schoolhouse hallways are completely dark, and the environment is scary and challenging to navigate. The first part of the game is to collect the 2 notebooks as usual, with the second one containing the impossible question. At first, Dr. Reflex behaves normally and will even give you a Bsoda if you answer all questions correctly in the first notebook. But the terror really begins when you fail the impossible question in the second notebook! Dr. Reflex will start chasing you through the dark halls — and you’ll instantly notice how different he is from Baldi. Baldi is predictable and gradually increases his speed depending on your mistakes, but Dr. Reflex is different: he is completely unpredictable and already moves at top speed right from the start! If he sees you in the hallway, he will charge at you so fast that using a Bsoda on him requires some serious reflexes! Dr. Reflex’s weakness is the classrooms — he won’t enter them unless he sees you inside. If you open the door right as he walks by, he can come in and catch you. A strategic place to stay is the detention room, since Dr. Reflex cannot enter it and you can watch where he’s going through the three windows. This allows you to take the opposite path without risking running into him. The mod is really fun but also extremely difficult.
