Poyrazlar Gölü, Sakarya il merkezinin 7–8 km kuzeydoğusunda, Sakarya nehrinin kenarında yer alan alüvyal set gölüdür. Göl kıyısında bulunan Poyrazlar köyünden adını alan gölün diğer bir adı da Teke gölüdür. Göl alanı 67 hektar, kıyılarının uzunluğu 4400 m olan göl 1. derece doğal sit alanıdır.[1] Göl fazla sularını 350 m uzaktaki Sakarya Nehrine boşaltmaktadır. Derinliği 3-8 metre civarı olan gölün güney kısımları sığdır ve sazlıklarla kaplıdır. Göl çevresi ormandır. Gölün güney kısımlarında küçük bir longoz yer alır, bu alan su kuşlarının beslenme ve üremesinde önemlidir. Göl çevresi Orman Bölge Müdürlüğü tarafından günü birlik ziyaretçiler için mesire yeri olarak düzenlenmiş, özel sektör tarafından işletilmektedir. Gölde 64'ü yıl boyu kalan yerli, kışın gelen 36, yaz mevsiminde gelen 47, transit geçen 6 tür olmak üzere 154 kuş tür tespit edilmiştir.[2] Gölde yakalanan tatlısu levreği ve turna balığı sayıca azaldığı için 1992 yılında Su Ürünleri Kooperatifi faaliyetine son vermiştir. Poyrazlar gölünden; kadife, tatlısu levreği, turna, kızılkanat, gümüşi havuz balığı, kızılgöz, çapak ve kerevit yakalanmaktadır. Av sezonunda günde 20–85 kg arası balık yakalanmaktadır.[3] Eski Sakarya-Karasu yolunda 10. km'de yer alan göl, Yeni Karasu yolunda Güneşler kavşağından sonra 5. km'dedir. Poyrazlar Lake is an alluvial dam lake located 7-8 km northeast of the Sakarya city center, on the banks of the Sakarya River. Named after the Poyrazlar village on its shore, it is also known as Teke Lake. Covering an area of ​​67 hectares and with shores 4400 m long, the lake is a first-degree natural protected area.[1] The lake drains its excess water into the Sakarya River, 350 m away. The lake has a depth of 3-8 meters, with shallower southern parts covered in reeds. The surrounding area is forested. A small wetland is located in the southern part of the lake, which is important for the feeding and breeding of water birds. The area around the lake has been organized as a picnic area for day visitors by the Forestry Regional Directorate and is operated by the private sector. 154 bird species have been identified in the lake, including 64 resident species that stay year-round, 36 winter visitors, 47 summer visitors, and 6 transit species.[2] Due to the decrease in the number of freshwater perch and pike caught in the lake, the Fisheries Cooperative ceased its activities in 1992. The following fish are caught in Poyrazlar Lake: velvet fish, freshwater perch, pike, redfin, silver carp, red-eyed fish, bream, and crayfish. During the fishing season, between 20 and 85 kg of fish are caught daily.[3] The lake is located at the 10th km on the old Sakarya-Karasu road and at the 5th km after the Güneşler junction on the new Karasu road.
