Crime Time News.... MINOR GIRL KIDNAPPING CASE. MALAKPET POLICE ARRESTED THE ACCUSED AND RESCUED 2 ½ YEAR OLD MINOR GIRL THROUGH CCTV FOOTAGES WITHIN 24 HOURS. BRIEF HISTOY OF THE CASE: On 28.01.2021 at 03.30 hrs the SHO Malakpet received a complaint from Sri.Sudugu Ajay S/o Late Upender, age 27 yrs, Occ: Rag picker working on footpath at Moosarambagh, Malakpet, Hyderabad and N/o Janagaon, stating that about 10 years ago he came to Hyderabad from Janagaon for seeking livelihood and been homeless and devilling on footpaths. Five years back, he married Laxmi and was blessed with a baby girl by name Ammulu, age 2 years and 6 months. On 27.01.2021 at 22.00 hrs, he along with his wife, daughter Ammulu and his friend Raju, slept at SBI footpath, Moosarambagh. On 28.01.2021 at about 01.30 hrs Raju woke him up and told that his daughter was missing. Immediately he and his wife searched for his daughter Ammulu and cme to PS and lodged a complaint of kidnap. ACCUSED DETAILS: Kalavala Sravan Kumar s/o late Venkatesh, age 29 yrs, occ: Auto Driver, Caste: Erukala (ST), r/o H.No.2-3-776/13/5, Shanthinagar, Golnaka, Amperpet, Hyderabad, N/o H.No.41-441, Palem Village, Bijinepally Mandal, Mahaboobnagar Dist. MOTIVE: Accused Kalavala Sravan Kumar is an Auto driver and also does painting works. He is addicted to alcohol. He is previously involved in property offences at P.Ss .Malakpet and Kachiguda of Hyderabad City and P.Ss. Saroornagar and L.B.Nagar of Rachakonda. Vexed with his criminal acts his wife deserted him and his living separately along with her four children. At present the accused Sravan Kumar is staying with another woman at Golnaka. He used to ply the passenger Auto from Amberpet to Moosarambagh. While plying auto he saw a minor girl playing on footpath near SBI, Moosarambagh and staying on footpath with her parents since his earnings as an auto driver are insufficient and very meagre to meet his expenses, he planned to earn easy money and hatched a plan to kidnap the minor girl with a view to earn easy money by selling her away to children’s parents. Hence on 27.01.2021, midnight he stolen unlocked Activa bike bearing No.AP09BY2099 which was parked in front of a house at Kachiguda and came to SBI, Moosarambagh and moved here and there till the minor girl and her parents went into deep sleep. At about 0109 am on 28.01.2021, he went there and kidnapped the minor girl to his house on the same stolen bike. INVESTIGATION: On receipt of the above complaint the SHO Malakpet registered a case vide Cr.No.23/2021 u/s 363 IPC and took up investigation. Under the supervision of Sri. K.Muralidhar, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, East Zone, Hyderabad and Sri. N.Venkataramana, ACP, Malakpet Division, several teams were formed, to trace and rescue the kidnapped baby girl. The team verified the CCTV footages located in and around Malakpet limits and other limits and noticed one person kidnapping the minor girl on a two wheeler. The same day i.e., 28.01.2021 at 1800 hrs, the accused was traced at his house in Golnaka and rescued the minor girl safely, and the stolen bike was also recovered the accused was arrested and produced before the court for remand . The Hyderabad police gives utmost priority to human lives especially with regard to missing minor girls. Several such cases were detected within record time earlier and the kidnapped minor girls were rescued and handed over to their parents.
