Actually in the year 1959, there was an event between Russia and America, in this event the leader of the Soviet Union, Nikita, liked this Pepsi so much, that he gave permission to sell Pepsi in his country. And later this Pepsi started selling so much in Russia that by the year 1989, Russia had a debt of $ 3 billion. To get out of this debt, Russia gave its cold war weapons to Pepsi in 1989.
