The Limelight Frolic is one of the fastest heating portable dry herb vaporisers to land in the UK, reaching 210°C in around 5 to 6 seconds. But with a price tag sitting near £300, is this premium device actually worth it? In this video, I unbox the Limelight Frolic and give you my genuine first impressions after a week of use. We take a proper look at the build quality, design, heat up speed, battery performance, flavour, vapour production, accessories, and overall usability to help you decide whether this is a serious contender in the high end portable vaporiser space. First impressions surprised me straight away. The Frolic is far lighter than expected, yet still feels incredibly well engineered and durable. Built using high quality materials including PEEK plastic, it has a premium feel in the hand without coming across as fragile. One of the standout features is the extremely fast heat up time, removing the long waits many users are familiar with from older devices. The replaceable battery is another huge advantage for anyone who medicates on the go, and early signs suggest the battery life comfortably competes with some of the biggest names in the portable vaporiser market. Where this device really caught my attention though was the flavour. The terpene profile from the first few draws is seriously impressive, delivering a level of taste you would normally associate with much larger setups. Vapour production is equally strong, making this a very compelling option for those who don’t want to sacrifice clouds when choosing a portable. While the Frolic is simple enough for beginners with its three button layout, session mode, and on demand heating, I have a feeling this device will particularly appeal to the connoisseurs out there who prioritise flavour and performance. This is not a full review. I have only been using the Frolic for a short time, so consider this an unboxing and first look. I’ll be putting it through its paces properly and comparing it against other premium devices in a future video, so make sure you’re subscribed if you don’t want to miss that. If you’re researching portable dry herb vaporisers, thinking about upgrading your current device, or just want to see what the latest vape technology is capable of, this is definitely one worth knowing about. I’ve left a link in the pinned comments to where this device was sourced, along with a small discount code. This is not an affiliate link and I make nothing if you purchase. As always, this is my honest opinion. Let me know your first impressions in the comments. Is the Limelight Frolic something you could see yourself using, or are you sticking with what you’ve already got? Look after yourselves and each other. Peace out, Cub Scouts.
