#iqbalsports #livecricket #indiavssrilanka India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI Live Score & Commentary | IND vs SL Last 25 Over | IND vs SL 2nd ODI Live Preview: Eden Gardens will see the return of ODI cricket after a long wait of more than 5 years. Rohit Sharma's men will be looking to kill the series early and start the World Cup year with a statement that India are the favourites to lift the trophy, despite their recent history in the ICC tourament. This will also be a return for captain Rohit in his happy hunting ground, where he has played a few iconic innings through the years. The best and possibly the most relevant of them all is his 264 against Sri Lanka back in 2014, the highest individual score ever made in the history of the ODI format. Rohit's record is still untouched, and he will be looking for another good outing after his exploits in Guwahati on 10 January. Rohit, alongside Shubman Gill gave India a brilliant platform and dominated the first ODI of the three match series. The Indian captain sounded fairly happy after the first ODI match in Assam where the team bagged a 67-run win against Dasun Shanaka and co. However, Rohit did point out that the bowling needed improvement since they allowed Shanaka to cut away in the last 10 overs and let the Sri Lanka captain score a tremendous century, albeit in losing cause. Sri Lanka are set to miss two fast bowlers - Dilshan Madushanka and Chamika Karunaratne in the second ODI game. While Madushanaka dislocated his right shoulder after an awkward fall, Chamika has been ruled out for an injury he copped before the toss ahead of the first ODI match. The weather is expected to be clear in Eden Gardens with absolutely no chances of rainfall. It will be a cold day in Kolkata with temperatures hovering around 13-15 degree Celsius in the evening. A lot od dew can be expected at Eden in this season, which will possibly make the track a heaven for batting. Seam bowlers can expect slight movement in the early overs of the second innings as well. India are likely to go ahead with their winning combination considering the way Shubman Gill batted at the top of the order. The pace trio of India fared well in the last game barring the last 10 overs, and it will be hard on anyone if they get replaced after just one ODI.
