I was unsure of sharing this with the world for awhile. Usually, I edit videos right away, but this video is so close to my heart and it took me months to edit because I would break down in tears every time I tried to put it together, but I’m ready now… 8 months ago Bella was almost taken from us. I was working and was called home because Bella was lethargic. Moments after I arrived I had to call the rescue because Bella was about to lose consciousness. She spent the night in the PICU fighting for her life and was hospitalized for 5 days. She was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. She inherited from her grandfather it skipped Alex :( Every day since has been a battle, but Bella is a strong girl. I made this video for 3 reasons. So that Bella can see it when she gets older and hopefully by then there will be a cure. To prevent a tragedy from happening to someone else and bring awareness to Diabetes. (NO she didn’t eat too many sweets, it’s genetic in children.) Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease. Her pancreas no longer produces the insulin she needs to stay alive. Lastly, to show others who are diabetic or know someone who is that they are not alone. We will fight this together. I hope this video touches you all in some way. Although sometimes with social media we sadly ignore posts from people we once shared moments with. I hope with this video it will be different.
