"At a time when so much of the country was on pandemic lockdown, the idea of escaping to a secluded spot in the woods was very appealing for a lot of folks. It reminds me of a âcountry folks can surviveâ theme. I know many folks that still do this regularly. Feels good to release new music.â - Travis Tritt *Stream GHOST TOWN NATION here and don't forget to add it to your favorite playlists! https://bignoise.ffm.to/ttghosttownnation **For more information or a full list of Travis Tritt tour dates, visit his website TravisTritt.com (https://www.travistritt.com) and follow him on Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/travistritt.com), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/travistritt), and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/realtravistritt). ***Click here to sign up for Travis's email list to be the first to receive exclusive updates including new music, contests, and more! Sign up here: https://mailchi.mp/travistritt/join-the-mailing-list Over three decades after having launched his extraordinary music career, one of Country musicâs most notable artists, Travis Tritt, has released a new single âGhost Town Nation;â the first release off his highly-anticipated forthcoming album, produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, The Highwomen, Brandi Carlile, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell & John Prine). Written by Aaron Raitiere and JB Strauss, âGhost Town Nationâ is an energetic song that sends the message of making the best out of a bad situation. Filled with guitar-riffs and Trittâs rich vocals, the song rallies for when times are tough, and the pressures run high, to head to the country and focus on the simple gratifications of living life outdoors, such as the fish biting, the garden growing, the fire burning, moonshine, and more. Tritt sings, âWell, I tell ya one thing that we all got in common; we ainât gotta worry when the sky starts fallin', No need to panic when the lord comes callin', cause itâs all just a part of the show.â The song continues, âWeâll load on up, take it out to the woods, where the fish are still biting, and the eatingâs still good.â Tritt spoke about the song, saying, âI loved the overall groove of the song when I first heard the demo, but what really hooked me was the lyrics. At a time when so much of the country was on pandemic lockdown, I think the idea of escaping to a secluded spot in the woods was very appealing for a lot of folks. It reminded me of a âcountry folks can surviveâ theme. I personally know a lot of folks that still do this regularly.â Like other notable artists, such as Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, Tritt is one of a few current country artists to be labeled as an âoutlaw.â His music is influenced by some of the formatâs most timeless artists like Jennings and Cash, along with George Jones, Conway Twitty, Emmylou Harris, and more. Earlier this year, it was announced that Tritt signed a record deal with LA-based label, Big Noise Music Group. Tritt is finishing up his new original full-length album, which is due out next year. Travis Trittâs albums, seven of which are certified platinum or higher, have led him to amass more than 30 million in career album sales, two GRAMMYÂź Awards, four CMA Awards, including the CMA Horizon Award (now known as the New Artist Award); a Billboard Music Award for Top New Artist, an invitation to become a member of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry and a devoted fan base that has filled venues coast-to-coast. He is also dubbed one of âThe Class of â89,â which includes Country music superstars Garth Brooks, Clint Black, and Alan Jackson; all of whom dominated the charts in the â90s. Among his eleven studio albums and numerous charted singles are five number ones and 20 Top 10 hits, including âHelp Me Hold On,â âAnymore,â âCan I Trust You with My Heart,â âFoolish Pride,â âBest of Intentions,â âIâm Gonna Be Somebody,â âModern Day Bonnie and Clyde,â âHereâs A Quarter,â âItâs A Great Day To Be Alive,â and more. Additionally, throughout his extraordinary career, his talents have crossed over into film and tv, where he appeared in Rio Diablo (1993), The Cowboy Way (1994), Tales from the Crypt (1995), Sgt. Bilko (1996), Fire Down Below (1997), Outlaw Justice (1999), Touched By An Angel (1999), Blues Brothers (2000), Yes, Dear (2004), Brotherâs Keeper (2013), Forever My Girl (2018), and more. Travis Tritt continues to sell-out shows and stays authentic and relevant to country music fans across the globe. His distinctively soulful voice and exceptional guitar prowess continue to be front and center. Trittâs forthcoming new album marks his first original album release in over thirteen years. An album release date will be released at a later date.
