Apparently owning a bunch of different trucks just means you get to find a way to use ALL of them in the same day… We started the morning with the Palfinger knuckle boom crane truck at a local school, lifting and setting their new playground structure into place. After the mess involved just getting this playground equipment unloaded in the first place, it was nice to finally see it going where it actually belonged. With the playground handled, it was time to use the crane truck and the sliding axle trailer to load up a telehandler and haul it over to Lost Tracks Golf Club. Because obviously a crane job followed by equipment hauling is a perfectly reasonable way to spend the first half of the day. Then it was back home, park one truck, grab another. This time I jumped into the Zacklift heavy wrecker and headed out to pick up a broken-down Freightliner with brake problems. We got it hooked up, towed it over to McCaully’s Truck Center, and dropped it off so Cody and the guys could get the brakes repaired and put it back to work. Job number three complete… which naturally meant it was time to go home and start job number four. The Zacklift got parked, the heavy haul truck came out, and I started getting everything hooked up, loaded, and ready for an out-of-state trip. So in a single day we managed to do crane work, equipment hauling, heavy-duty towing, and prep for a heavy haul trip—all with three completely different trucks. People occasionally ask why I own so many specialized pieces of equipment. Days like this are pretty much the answer. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
