About Chris (in his own words) I have been in the data industry for over 18 years and I have been a data leader for the past 9 years. One of my passions is helping other people succeed. I want each member of my team to reach their personal and professional goals, and I will stop at nothing to ensure they exceed them. During my time as a data leader, I developed Barky, an AI program which helped my team optimize their code and our projects. I started Barky over 3 years ago and kept adding to it. When I demoed Barky to clients or the companies I worked for, they scoffed at it, saying "Why would we ever use this?" Yet my team was exceeding goals. After being caught in the layoffs in 2022, jobs were too few and far between. My supportive wife told me that I help as many people succeed as possible by letting Barky help the public. I reengineered Barky to help the general public and started learning how to develop a mobile apps. With the help of another developer, we launched Barky on the Apple App store on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022. With nothing more than just a few LinkedIn posts and word of mouth, in less than a week, Barky had over 1,500 users globally. Businesses were calling me asking how they could get Barky hosted internally in their organizations. Now, we are at capacity. I sold my car to fund Barky, and we are outgrowing our capital.
