I posted every single day for 31 days straight across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok... secretly hoping that daily vlogging would grow my channel, increase my views and help me become a better content creator. It didn't quite work out that way.. After quitting my 10-year corporate career to pursue content creation full-time, I decided to challenge myself to Vlogust: film every single day in August and upload the very next day. No saving old footage for an easy upload. No waiting until something exciting happened. Just 31 days of showing up, creating and sharing my real life in New York City. And after 31 days? There was no viral video. No huge subscriber increase. No dramatic explosion in views. But something else changed. In this video, I'm sharing what posting every day for 31 days actually did to my channel, what I learned about consistency as a small creator, dealing with low views and wanting instant gratification, learning short-form content, overcoming creator imposter syndrome, and why this challenge ended up changing my confidence far more than my analytics. And then, in the final week, something I genuinely didn't expect happened: I got my first opportunity to work with a brand as a creator, attend a creator brunch in SoHo, create content around NYC and go to the US Open. š„¹ Vlogust didn't give me the external validation I thought I needed. Instead, it taught me that I don't need a certain subscriber count or number of views to call myself a content creator. I'm a creator because I create. If you're trying to grow on YouTube, starting a content creation journey, thinking about becoming a full-time creator, or pursuing something where the results aren't coming as quickly as you hoped, I hope this gives you a little encouragement to keep showing up anyway. ā¤ļø 31 days ago, I thought I needed Vlogust to grow my channel. Turns out I needed it to grow me. Thank you for being part of Vlogust 2026. We did it. š„¹ Subscribe for: NYC lifestyle vlogs, my journey from corporate career to full-time content creator, creator diaries, travel, cozy everyday life and figuring out what it looks like to build a life I genuinely love. #DailyVlogging #ContentCreatorJourney #YouTubeGrowth #SmallYouTuber #NYCVlog #FullTimeCreator #Vlogust
