where to start with this verification... MY STORY OF SHITTY GRIEF: (JUNE 2025) I started playing this level some time early June where I saw @Rift108 's version of shitty grief just by searching the name in the gd search tab. At the time I thought it got verified and just started playing it since I wanted a shitty grief that was challenging enough for me to possibly beat it one day. (the version was much easier than the version in the video*) So I decided to stream it, hoping to become the first victor. Streaming pretty much daily just finding good runs. Then @Rift108 came into my chat saying that it wasnt actually verified and he accidently published it to the severs (lol). A few streams later he comes back and I jokingly say "Im basically the verifier now since no one else is playing it" and Rift gave me the ok to become verifier. (JULY 2025) In July, Rift decided to give the entire level a huge buffdate, making it twice as hard at it had originally been. At the time, I was too bad to even finish any spam parts (cuber [35%]) so I kinda just gave up on myself. I thought it was too difficult for me and way out of my reach considering my hardest was (still is) BLOODBATH. I had never beat a level with this much controlled wave spam. However I still decided to grind it and got pretty consistent at every part. (AUGUST 2025) This is where my verification mostly fell apart. I was going to start trade school in September and I didnt want the verification to be affected by that so I told Rift that I wont have the time to play GD, essentially holding a verification hostage. So I DROPPED THE LEVEL... and Shitty Grief was going to another verifier/open verification. (JANUARY 2026 TO NOW) I started playing Shitty Grief more on the weekends or whenever I had time to! During this period I become official verifier again and started grinding runs and progress from 0. 84% on Jan. 26th and then a 95% fluke on Feb. 22nd. The verification was anytime soon as I got more consistent during runs and making it to Greafer (65%) 70 times in total before the completion. And now, It has been verified! Thanks to everyone who subscribed and came to my channel to see the progress on this huge project. Thanks to @Rift108 for giving a random guy to verify his level and listening to changes this level needs! Whats next? A new hardest? More TSL+ level completions? We'll see in future videos...
