We tried to learn How to Fish with three people who had never fished, and I drowned in the first minute. It's a physics-based co-op fishing game, so every catch stays loose in the world and can run away, fight back or end up in the gambling machine. We figured out hot dogs work as bait, chased runaway crabs, fought a spider crab and then another spider crab, and finally caught an actual fish. After that we bought dynamite. I added a mod to summon extra seagulls and ended up with about a hundred I could hear and none on screen, and the game got unstable enough that I took every mod back out. The giant piranha boss wiped us over and over until a pile of 13 sticks of dynamite killed 25 piranhas at once and sent me to the main menu. Next came the party boat, a fish we named Bing Bong, a whole cow on the end of a line, the blue shark boss and one last dynamite pile.
