Get the Written Tutorial on our Blog Here: http://bit.ly/2BP5FVU Your Supply List: 3/4 inch irrigation tubing 3/4 inch irrigation tube connector a tube cutter a heat gun (we'll tell you what to do if you don't have one) tape! electrical tape, duct tape, or performance/hoop tape are best Instructions: Grab the irrigation tubing, tube connectors, and the tube cutters at just about any hardware store. Be sure to get 3/4 inch tubing - 1/2 inch is too small and be sure that your tube connector is the right size. The tube cutters will be in the same isle as the irrigation tubing. Measure a length of tube that makes a loop from the floor to your waistline. Size does matter! The reason that kid's hoops suck for adults is that they are too small, too light, and too fast. This hoop will be a lot easier to handle. Smaller hoops are okay if you are an experienced hooper and small hoops are great for advanced tricks. Cut a length of irrigation tubing. Try to cut evenly across and make a straight cut. Use a heat gun to soften the edges of the tube so that you can slide the tube connector in easily. If you don't have a heat gun, boil water and soak the ends of the irrigation tube in the hot water for a few minutes. Be sure that the connector is all the way in the tube so that the tube can be flush together. Seal the connection with tape. Decorate! Use any color tape you want to make your hoop just your style. All white tape is super modern and making a rainbow is really fun too. Just be sure to use tape that can handle getting thrown around. Paper tape, washi tape, are not ideal.
