I Tested the Vivobarefoot Tracker AT II for 100 Miles: Here’s What Happened After putting serious miles on the Vivobarefoot Tracker AT II Textile, I finally have enough real-world experience to give my honest review. I've used these barefoot hiking boots for trail running, mountain trails, creek crossings, rain, wet grass, gardening, construction, beaches, cities, and workouts—and they've handled almost everything I've thrown at them. What initially surprised me was how lightweight they felt compared with the leather Tracker models. They were stiff when I first put them on, but after roughly an hour of breaking in, they became extremely comfortable. The wide toe box, natural foot movement, secure lacing system, minimal debris entering the ankle area, durability, and waterproof performance have all stood out during my testing. I've taken them through puddles, creeks, streams, rain and tall wet grass, and my feet have remained dry. The traction has also performed well across a wide variety of terrain, although slick wet logs and moss-covered rocks will always require careful foot placement. I've also put them through brush and gardening where other shoes I've owned have quickly torn. So far, I haven't seen the kind of damage I normally expect from that type of use. And after all of that testing, my verdict is simple: 10/10. If you're looking for a barefoot hiking boot, waterproof trail shoe, minimalist outdoor shoe, or lightweight all-terrain boot, this review will give you a real-world look at how the Tracker AT II Textile performs. 🔰 In This Video You'll Learn: 💠 Why I chose the Tracker AT II Textile over the heavier leather Tracker models 💠 How lightweight these boots feel compared with other Vivobarefoot Trackers 💠 How long they took to break in and become comfortable 💠 How well the laces stay secured during running and trail use 💠 How effectively they keep debris out while running through brush and trails 💠 How the wide toe box and barefoot design feel during movement 💠 How the traction performs on wet, rocky and uneven terrain 💠 How durable they are in gardens, construction areas and sharp brush 💠 Whether they actually keep your feet dry through rain, creeks, puddles and wet grass 💠 Why I ultimately gave the Vivobarefoot Tracker AT II Textile a 10/10 ⏰ Time Stamps: ✳️ 00:04 — Vivobarefoot Tracker AT II Textile review begins ✳️ 00:23 — Real-world testing: trails, creeks, beaches & construction ✳️ 00:51 — Why I chose this lightweight Tracker ✳️ 01:18 — Comparing weight and durability with leather Trackers ✳️ 01:56 — First impressions and breaking them in ✳️ 02:13 — Laces staying secure ✳️ 02:32 — Keeping debris out of the boots ✳️ 02:57 — Lightweight feel and natural foot movement ✳️ 03:19 — Traction on wet and slippery terrain ✳️ 03:45 — Durability through brush and gardening ✳️ 04:19 — Wide toe box and barefoot design ✳️ 04:25 — Preparing to use them for Bigfoot 200 ✳️ 04:42 — Foot, ankle and natural movement experience ✳️ 04:57 — Waterproofing test in rain, creeks & puddles ✳️ 05:28 — Secure lace hooks ✳️ 05:43 — Why I bought the AT II instead of the newer model ✳️ 05:52 — What I paid for the boots ✳️ 06:08 — Final verdict: 10/10 👍 If you enjoy personal growth, self-mastery, mindset, outdoor training, movement, resilience, and practical life lessons, subscribe to Northwest Elite Spirit for more. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🥋 Train With Coach Brian Coach Brian J.
