My newest purchase is back in the garage and now awaiting Paint Protection Film at Topaz, but in the meantime there's a lot to take in and show about this truly epic machine, so let's check it out in full! Immediately from collecting my SLS AMG Black Series, the newest Shmeemobile went straight through the import process to be UK registered before going directly to Chartwell to be resprayed in Mystic Blue. As a result, I haven't yet spent a huge amount of time around it, despite owning the car already for a few months. However, that extended process is now complete and although I will not drive the car until it has PPF out of fear of stone chips, I've certainly doing my best to get to know everything about it. With only around 350 SLS Black Series models built in total, it's the most hardcore road variant of the SLS AMG, taking inspiration from the race-winning SLS GT3 car to up the game in terms of driving experience and aerodynamics. Visually it wears the iconic Gullwing doors, has an incredibly wide body, and boasts a thunderous soundtrack from the 6.2l NA V8. However there are plenty of things you may not know about the car which we can run through from top to bottom; including the interior and displays, the engine bay, and even some of the design elements it houses.
