God Is About to Surprise You: Star Wars, Faith, and God's Power. Learn how God's power and faith go beyond the prosperity gospel and why you shouldn't limit God's blessings in your Christian walk. Are you limiting God to what your human brain can understand? In this video, we dive into a surprising connection between a famous Star Wars quote from Han Solo and the dangerous trap of the prosperity gospel. When Luke Skywalker tries to convince Han Solo to rescue Princess Leia by promising "more wealth than you can imagine," Han famously replies: "I don't know, I can imagine quite a bit." But when it comes to God’s love and power, if you can imagine it, you are thinking too small. We break down the theological truth found in 1 Corinthians 2:9 ("No eye has seen, no ear has heard...") and Ephesians 3:20 to expose why the "name it and claim it" theology actually expects TOO LITTLE from God. By limiting God’s blessings to earthly wealth, health, and comfort, we miss the holy surprises He has for us—even when His presence makes our lives messier, more painful, and more unpredictable. Stop asking God only for things you can name, and learn how to posture your heart to be amazed by what He is doing right now in ways you can't wrap your mind around. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS / CHAPTERS: 00:00 - God Is About to Surprise You 00:15 - Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2 & Ephesians 3 01:16 - Star Wars & Han Solo Faith Lesson 02:37 - The Prosperity Gospel Trap 03:48 - How God's Power Works 05:13 - Stop Asking Small & Let God Amaze You 05:56 - Closing Prayer & Blessing 🔔 Subscribe for more biblical deep dives, sermon breakdowns, and culture-vs-faith discussions!
