You can only relish in the past so long before you find yourself reverting back into a kid. People are funny that way, they seem to end up at where they started because they never took a different path. Interconnectedness of your body to your mind to your soul, physical to mental, is a story I was always told on Sunday mornings. I just never believed it. As a child, for me, home was boring. And in some ways I still find that to be a half truth But a place with this many fables and sob stories is anything but boring. It’s harrowing. Try as I might It’s a tale of victory. It’s my life.
