Did you know this in the amazing digital circus? Today episode 8 of the digital circus finally released and it’s the craziest episode yet. Is it any good? Let’s talk about it. This one follows on from the events of 7. We get a few flashback sequences showing some past abstracted humans. Meanwhile back in the present caine goes crazy, starting to actively torment the group. They put kinger under a bucket so that he’s back to his lucid self and they work on a plan to stop caine. The episode ends with caine getting deleted by kinger, with most of the circus seemingly destroyed. So like with the rest of the series i really enjoyed this one. It answered a bunch of questions fans have had throughout the show, but also created many new ones. Caine’s song was extremely memorable, and the writing was very funny. It somehow wasn’t predictable, i don’t think anyone saw the plot twist of caine getting deleted coming. I especially enjoyed the parts where caine went full am and messed with everyone. Seeing caine go from a loveable ai to a full on villain was really entertaining, i love him either way. I also have to commend the vocal performances across the board, jax and caine’s especially were brilliant you could hear the shift in how they spoke compared to past episodes. So is there anything i disliked? The main thing is just down to the way the show is paced. There’s one episode left, and the first 2 and a half minutes of 8 are a segment with some symbols. I think this time would’ve been better spent introducing us to queenie, scratch and these other humans. We have one episode left to learn about characters like ribbit and find out if the show will have a satisfying conclusion, which is a little concerning. So what did you think?
