In mid-December 2024 I had a fever dream about a media island that consisted entirely of monsters based on, of all things, brands sold at Walmart, with the seven deadly sins for elements and some similar motifs to Blast Processing by Waterflame in the song. I don't remember what food and media I consumed prior to going to sleep that night, so I don't have an explanation as to why this was even thought of, but I've finally decided to make it a reality solely as a high-ish-effort joke. In this world, taking on the form of a backrooms-style Walmart-esque hellscape, monsters called Marketronics and by extension their two subclasses, the Supermarketronics and another subclass that I'm still working on a name for, live in fear of dreadful predatory giants that exist in this world simply called the Consumers. While hiding out from these Consumers, guarded by the more combative Supermarketronics, such as the spiteful and aggressively protective Cart Attendant, the monsters here are fully aware of my existence and hate me for creating them and confining them to this purgatory, actively plotting my demise.
