Give My Regards was started in a dorm room by Pat Young and Kyle McCarthy at SUNY Geneseo in 2005. In the fall of that year, they welcomed other Geneseo students Dave Lamb, Jonny Gilroy, Ben Gilroy, and Brad Flower to the band, and recorded their first EP (self-titled) in January of 2006.
