華厳宗大本山 東大寺の公式YouTubeチャンネルです。 東大寺は天平15（743）年、聖武天皇が「盧舎那大仏（るしゃなだいぶつ）造立の詔」を発布されたことで国全体を護る寺として建立されました。当時の国民のほぼ半数にあたる約260万人もの「知識」（自らの意志で協力する人々）が総力をあげて造立された大仏さまは、「奈良の大仏」として多くの人々に親しまれています。 また、大仏さまの完成式である「開眼供養会（かいげんくようえ）」が厳修された天平勝宝4（752）年に創始され、「お水取り」という名前で知られる「東大寺二月堂修二会（しゅにえ）」は、現在まで一度も途絶えること無く続けられ、令和4年で1271回目を迎えた法要です。
