Carlos Mario Aguirre creó El Águila Descalza en 1980. Fundó su primera sede en 1984, una pequeña habitación con capacidad para 7 espectadores. En 1985 ingresa al grupo Cristina Toro y con ella inaugura una nueva sede con capacidad para 25 personas, con el estreno de Boleros en su ruta en 1985, se amplía para dar cabida…
