臺灣大學科學教育發展中心（Center for the Advancement of Science Education，簡稱NTUCASE）成立於2008年10月。成立宗旨乃在期許能將臺灣大學的科學研究及相關專業，貢獻於科學教育、科學素養，以及科技文化之啟迪養成，深耕在地放眼國際，將NTUCASE打造成一個以臺大為基地的華文科教資源平台。 NTUCASE採雙軌策略，藉由時興的「網路」、「傳播」，舉辦各項科教活動、開發科普影音網路節目、經營科普多媒體傳播，同時推動科普平面、電子出版等。以推動科學人文跨科際教育的新觀念，集結科教、科傳社群革新科學教育，開創了臺灣科學教育前所未有的紀錄。
