10th Album "NEWME” 2026.2.18 Out 歌手。UAとは、スワヒリ語で「花」という意味を持つ言葉。大阪府出身。母方の故郷は奄美大島。 1995年デビュー。「情熱」「悲しみジョニー」「ミルクティー」等のヒット曲を持ち、AJICOやUA×菊地成孔でも活動。2003年にNHK Eテレで放送された「ドレミノテレビ」では、うたのおねえさんとしてレギュラー出演。2023年には、UAが歌ったJR東海CM「会いにいこう」が話題になり、20年ぶりに新たに東海道新幹線のチャイムに使われる。ボーカリストとして様々なアーティストの楽曲にも参加。また映画、「水の女」、「大日本人」、「eatrip」にも出演。 また、α-STATIO…
