「金融消費評議中心」,簡稱評議中心,是依2011年6月總統公布之 「金融消費者保護法」,由金融監督管理委員會捐助設立的財團法人。 「金融消費者保護法」施行前,對於有價證券及期貨交易所生民事爭議之處理與投資人之保護,雖有「證券投資人及期貨交易人保護法」予以規範,並由「財團法人證券投資人及期貨交易人保護中心」專責處理,惟對於非屬該中心處理之金融消費民事爭議,過去的機制係分別由相關同業公會或周邊單位處理,缺乏單一專責機構,且無法律依據,爰有必要對於金融商品及服務之民事爭議處理,訂定專法規範。 因此,「金融監督管理委員會」為保護金融消費者權益,公平合理、專業迅速地處理金融消費爭議,增進金融消費者對市場之信心,並促進金融市場之健全發展,參…
