On the night of December 7th, 2019, Amtrak KN701 departed Wilmington with 15 AEM-7’s for what would be the last time an AEM-7 was seen on the NEC. The first portion was from Wilmington, DE to Harrison, NJ just outside of Newark. The AEM-7’s were dropped in Amtrak’s Hudson Yard to be picked up by another Amtrak job late…
