菲律賓東方海面的熱帶性低氣壓，預估今天(22)有機會，成為今年第9號颱風「馬鞍」，氣象局預測，路徑有可能從巴士海峽通過，掠過呂宋島北邊，朝中國廣東前進，與美國、歐洲模式，預測路徑差不多，但仍有變數，如果太平洋高壓勢力東退，颱風路徑就會偏北，更靠近台灣一點，不排除有機會發布今年"第一個"海上颱風警報。另外日本東邊遠洋，還有一個熱帶低壓發展中，可能會成為第10號「蝎虎」颱風，不過距離台灣超過3千公里，目前對台灣不會有影響。
