8月の千葉豪雨を受け、「千葉県タクシー協会」は大雨の際の運行基準について、今後、「レベル5大雨特別警報」が発表された場合は直ちに運行を中止する方針をまとめました。 千葉県タクシー協会によりますと、今年8月の千葉豪雨で、加盟する142社のタクシーおよそ5500台のうち、229台が浸水被害を受け、千葉県佐倉市ではタクシーが水没して乗客の女性が亡くなる事故が起きました。 このため協会は大雨の際の運行基準について検討していましたが、「レベル5大雨特別警報」が発表された場合は乗客や運転手の安全確保のため直ちに運行を中止する方針をまとめました。 発表時に乗客がいた場合は、安全な場所まで迂回しながら送迎したり、安全な場所で待機したりするなど…
