See, you only have to learn one sound! Lol, just kidding. But in reality, there aren't many unique sounds in Mandarin Chinese. This is why the language is tonal, to give more variety to the very few unique sounds. If you can learn just a few hundred sounds, then you can pretty much pronounce anything in Chinese!
