Tamil Nadu’s Tuition Support for Muslim Women Triggers Equality Debate The Tamil Nadu government has announced that it will cover undergraduate tuition fees for eligible Muslim women admitted through the government quota, prompting debate over whether publicly funded education benefits should be based on religion.
