1994年，許鴻志老師，無意中在舊圖書館的角落發現一堆樂器，那些是以前管樂隊留下來的，好久不見的樂器大家早就不記得了。我記得他那時常到教務處，曾聽他說過高中時想要加入學校的管樂團，卻因不能通過試音無緣進入。如今擔任導師的他希望讓班上同學練管樂，於是就請當時的教務主任：劉昆忠主任協助，希望能把班上的聯課活動和音樂課安排為管樂練習時間，並再次聘請之前的曾教練回校指導，音樂課則是當時上音樂課的老師：許意紫老師指導。那些很久不用的樂器問題重重，裡面有些是吹不出聲音的，有些雖吹得出聲音卻是怪怪的，但為了要讓班上每位同學都有樂器，許老師便把那些有問題的樂器拿去樂器行來修，在毫無經費財源下自己出錢出力，並獲得劉昆忠主任的資助買了新樂器。一樣的樂器…
